About The Little Aviation Museum
The Little Aviation Museum uses scale models to tell stories about aviation using a museum based philosophy.
The Museum’s core are its Public Galleries which feature images and information about hundreds of individual aircraft. Linked to these Galleries are Special Displays about a number of aviation and related topics.
The Museum’s Public Reading Room provides text based information about aviation and scale modelling. This includes current items on modelling and a regular ‘Workbench Note’ about construction of one of the latest exhibits added to the museum.
This website acknowledges the members of the Wathaurong Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which it is produced in Ballarat, Victoria, and pays respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
