About The Little Aviation Museum

The Little Aviation Museum uses scale models to tell stories about aviation using a museum based philosophy.

The Museum’s core are its Public Galleries which feature images and information about hundreds of individual aircraft. Linked to these Galleries are Special Displays about a number of aviation and related topics.

The Museum’s Public Reading Room provides text based information about aviation and scale modelling. This includes current items on modelling and a regular ‘Workbench Note’ about construction of one of the latest exhibits added to the museum.

Visitor Support

Visitor feedback is invited through the Museum’s Guest Book.

Visitors are also invited to monitor the Museum’s regular blog about museum activities featuring recent additions to the Public Galleries, Special Displays and the Public Reading Room.

Support for The Little Aviation Museum is sought from visitors, initially through on-line donations.

Later we will be offering sponsorships and opening a Friends of The Little Aviation Museum program which will offer exclusive benefits including access to all archived Special Displays and Workbench Notes and the museum’s catalogue, for a small annual fee.
