History
The Messerchmitt Bf109 was an important German fighter during World War II. The Bf109G-14 was the final version of the G series incorporating the improvements made to previously Bf109G models.
The ‘G’ version of Messerschnitt Bf109 fighter was the third major re-design of the fighter.
It began as an improved version of the earlier Bf109F with an improved engine and started entering service with the Luftwaffe in early 1942.
The most numerous version was the Bf109G-6 with over 12,000 being produced.
During its life many modifications and changes were made to it which were brought together in the Bf109G-14.which arrived in July 1944 with about 5,500 being built
This model represents Bf-109 G-14/AS, White 1 of 10./JG 300 flying at Juterbog-Waldlager in Autumn 1944.

Hasegawa 1/32 kit with Eduard instrument panel and seat Belts, Under starboard wing Matt Black, RLM 76 undersides other areas, RLM 75 and RLM 81 Version 2 upper areas and mottling. Airbrushed National markings and a mixture of kit and Kagero’s decals. Completed by Wayne Eagles in January 2024.
